A. K. Child is originally from the west coast but now lives on the east coast. She makes a meager living by editing government audit reports, but prefers writing and editing fiction. She is known as the Edit Demon by her associates, and will edit for food. Money is good too. If you are looking for an editor on a budget, please feel free to contact her!

Though prolific, she is late to the publishing scene, beginning her illustrious novelling career with the publication of "Steamroller," in July 2016. While you can pick up a copy of this book here, it's not worth it. Her other selections are far more enjoyable.

A.K. is a regular participant in and volunteer for National Novel Writing Month and associated events. All of her current publications began as NaNo novels. She started participating in 2007, and has volunteered with the organization since 2015.

She also writes original scripts, graphic novels/comic books and was a finalist in 2017 for the Silver Scream Film and Comic Festival award for her graphic novel, Yakuza!.
